Job Description: Self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently with little or no direct guidance. Utilize various methods of lecture and demonstration; present government approved training material using audiovisual aids (Microsoft PowerPoint) and other material to supplement presentations. Also, must administer written and practical exams. May be required to work as part of a team to design and develop new instructor led classroom courses. Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Degree Requirements: Associate Degree in related discipline preferred or 3 years experience
Licenses/Certifications Required: Documented completion of an Air Force or commercially equivalent Instructional System Designer (ISD) course and have completed an Instructor course. Accredited Military Instructor School graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills Required: Requires experience in reading and interrupting Basic Blue Prints, Aircraft Repair/Modification Blueprints, McDonnell Douglas Manufacturing Blueprints, Aircraft/Industrial Sheetmetal Technical Data, Roto/Flap Peening, Advanced Structural Repair, Repairing bonded composite honeycomb sandwich and laminated assets for aircraft structures, Removing and installing Aircraft and Commodities Fasteners.
Security Clearance: Position is located with MGTC’s training office on Robins Air Force Base. Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Benefits Eligibility: This position is eligible for membership in Georgia Defined Contribution Program only.
Salary Information: Actual salary is based on the candidate’s highest qualifying degree and number of contact teaching hours. Range per hour is $15 to $20.
